It’s safe to say anyone that doubted Bonang would ever pull this off was trifling. The hype came about when she tweeted that she would not only host the Miss SA 2019 pageant but style herself for the event, which was on Womens’ Day!
Bonang dazzled us with colour, construction, embellishments and my favourite, Ostrich Feather (but that was for the after-party). Designed by her favourite couturiers – Villioti Fashion Institute, Gert Johan-Coetzee and Biji – La Maison de Couture she was nothing short of a fashion dream for most designers.
Here are the garments in no particular order:
She looked like a Grecian goddess in this over the top, handcrafted Villioti garment for the Miss SA 19 event.
Her relationship with GJC has been nothing but good for both of them. She is seen here in his meticulously Swarovski encrusted eleganza, with an old Hollywood marcel wave hairstyle.
Nothing beats a vibrant yellow Villioti couture number. I want to say without the fascinator but it works, so let us not change anything.
Last, the princess ball gown by Gert Johan-Coetzee.
I have one last thing to ask:
Why you gagging though, she brings it to you every ball!
